It has been a little over two years since the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting has occurred. While times are tough for many right now, it is important to remember the events of the past and commemorate those who have been effected by tragedy.

On Saturday October 27, 2018 a devastating occurrence struck Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and the world. An act of antisemitism created a lasting result of sadness and pain for many. Two years later, large numbers of people are still emotionally healing from the deadly shooting that took place in Squirrel Hill. There were eleven worshippers that fell victim to the immoral incident. Continue to remind others that Pittsburgh is stronger than hate and make sure to take time out of your day to remember those who have passed and their families.

Thank you for reminding us of the Tree of Life tragedy. As the present goes rushing by, it's easy to let the past move farther and farther away. But we need to remember always. Beautifully written and appreciated.
